The association between National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and the likelihood of the presence of acute intracranial large vessel occlusion (LVO) confirmed by CTA, in 338 patients with acute ischemic stroke, admitted within 6 h of symptom onset. For each point increase in NIHSS, aOR is 1.23 (95 % CI: 1.17-1.29) for having LVO. At NIHSS 12 the chance of having LVO is 0.5 (50 %)
